I just conducted a 3 hours free internet marketing workshop “How to tap into internet marketing & make money” to some participants a few days ago. Pleased to see that all of them learnt about the basic of internet marketing
I find that one needs not to be very technical literate to run online business in internet. However a lot of people focus on technical skills. Yes, technical skill helps a bit, but not the major factors. So please dont focus on “reaction” because of the “environment“. What i mean, dont react spontaneously based on the environment, like when the government focus on “biotech” then all parents sent their child overseas to study biotech, and found out that it is no longer applicable in today’s context. as government is pushing for integrated resort nowsadays. So my advise is dont chase after the environment changes.
Instead focus on what your main goal, dream. as when we focus on the mission, anything technical is irrelevant.
During this 3 hours Internet Marketing Workshop, I went through on how to select profitable keywords, finding niche, tips in purchasing domain name (in fact I went all the way to spend my own $$ to purchase 1 domain LIVE).
I also linked the newly purchased domain to webhosting, and as the winner of the today, one participant Mr Sam, have his domain for FREE and a webhosting for 1 year (gift from me).
We also covered the running of PPC (pay per click to market the new website. There are a lot of cover, how i wish I have 8 hours to share with you, so that you can hands-on. And I hope by now, you should have learn a lot of stuff during the free session.
